Eli Staley posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Saturday. He struck out 14 batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
