Forest Grove is a perfect 10-0 against Liberty since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Forest Grove has three straight victories, Liberty has 11 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Forest Grove proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Century 4-2.

Meanwhile, Liberty fell victim to Glencoe and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Crimson Tide, falling 15-0.

Forest Grove pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-16.

Forest Grove took their win against Liberty when the teams last played two weeks ago by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Falcons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
