Football Recap: Sycamore Takes a Loss

Sycamore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Lakota West Firebirds, falling 56-0. The Aviators were not able to make up for their defeat to the Firebirds from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Sycamore's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Lakota West, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sycamore will take on rival Lakota East at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lakota West is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
