Perris put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came out on top against the Desert Hot Springs Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 93rd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 416th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Perris pushed their record up to 7-0-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Desert Hot Springs, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2-2.

Perris will be home for the holidays to greet Lakeside at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lakeside is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.2 goals per game this season. As for Desert Hot Springs, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Yucaipa at 5:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
