Softball Preview: Trinity Christian Crusaders vs. Twiggs Academy Trojans

Trinity Christian has gone 4-0 against Twiggs Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Trinity Christian Crusaders will face off against the Twiggs Academy Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Trinity Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Trinity Christian needed a bit of extra time to put away David Emanuel Academy. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles , sneaking past 12-11. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Crusaders.

Allie Baggett made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed eight innings while giving up just one earned (and nine unearned) runs off eight hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances. The victory got Trinity Christian back to even at 7-7. As for Twiggs Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.

Trinity Christian took their win against Twiggs Academy in their previous meeting on September 3rd by a conclusive 9-0.
