Pelion lost to Saluda two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Monday. The Panthers put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Alexia Hansen paced Pelion's offense, picking up five kills. Hansen got some help from Hayley Maxwell and her eight assists. Maxwell and Hansen didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with four apiece.

Pelion's win bumped their record up to 10-15-1. As for Saluda, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Pelion will venture away from home to challenge Landrum at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Saluda does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
