If East Hamilton was feeling good fresh off their 58-25 takedown of Howard Tech last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The match between the East Hamilton Hurricanes and the Jay Royals didn't end well, with the East Hamilton Hurricanes falling 38-23. The Hurricanes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

East Hamilton lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alexa Leonor, who posted seven points.

Jay found their leader in sophomore Hattie Locklin, who almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Adyson Adams, who had five points.
