Baseball Recap: Aquinas Academy Crusaders vs. St. Joseph Spartans
Aquinas Academy came into Monday's match having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the St. Joseph Spartans 15-7 on Monday. The Crusaders not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 27th (when they won 12-2).
Jack Stanton was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up four earned runs off three hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
