Washington has gone a perfect 5-0 against Tell City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Hatchets will challenge the Marksmen at 9:00 a.m. Washington is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

On Thursday, Washington didn't have quite enough to beat Loogootee and fell 3-2.

Washington took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 28-26, 23-25, 21-25, 25-15, 15-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Tell City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against Evansville Christian by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23.

Tell City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-9.

Washington took their victory against Tell City in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Do the Hatchets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marksmen turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
