Softball Recap: Castlewood Blue Devils vs. Twin Springs Titans
After flying high against Thomas Walker on Tuesday, Castlewood came back down to earth. The Blue Devils came up short against the Twin Springs Titans on Friday, falling 7-1. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
Castlewood saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anna Summers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Castlewood's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Twin Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2-1.

The Spartans will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Twin Springs, they will venture away from home to challenge Thomas Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 17.25 runs per game on average), something the Titans will no doubt try to take advantage of.
