Pisgah took a three-goal loss the last time they faced off against Franklin, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Pisgah had just enough and edged out Franklin 2-1. That's two games straight that Pisgah have won by just one goal.

Delaney Pifer was the driving force of Pisgah's attack as she scored both of Pisgah's goals, bringing her season total up to six goals.

Pisgah has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-2-1 record this season. Franklin has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-4-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pisgah will take on West Henderson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
