Rockwall is 7-1 against North Forney since November of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Rockwall Yellowjackets will take on the North Forney Falcons at 6:30 p.m. Rockwall has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Rockwall will head into Tuesday's matchup having proved themselves against Rockwall-Heath: Rockwall barely beat Rockwall-Heath the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Rockwall was the clear victor by a 54-32 margin over Rockwall-Heath on Tuesday. Given the Yellowjackets' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Hawks are ranked 467th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Forney slipped by Longview 46-45 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Rockwall is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for North Forney, their record is now 9-12.

Rockwall came up short against North Forney when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 41-34. Can Rockwall avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
