Softball Recap: Jacobs Takes a Loss

Jacobs lost to Huntley two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 11-1 to the Red Raiders. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacobs saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Fillipp, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Jacobs' loss dropped their record down to 12-15. As for Huntley, they pushed their record up to 21-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Jacobs is set to take on their familiar foe Crystal Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Huntley will square off against rival Cary-Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
