Basketball Preview: Maple Heights Mustangs vs. Twinsburg Tigers
The Maple Heights Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the Twinsburg Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Maple Heights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Bedford 57-30 on the road. Maple Heights has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 22 points or more this season.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Twinsburg over the Eagles in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Everything went Twinsburg's way against the Eagles as the Tigers made off with a 52-30 victory.
Maple Heights is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Twinsburg, their victory bumped their record up to 8-11.
Maple Heights was dealt a bruising 50-21 loss at the hands of the Tigers in their previous meeting back in November of 2022.
