Rumson-Fair Haven won against Monmouth Regional last Thursday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Point Pleasant Boro Panthers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Max Hinchliffe looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Gyimesi, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Miles Martin, who scored a run and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Point Pleasant Boro, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Rumson-Fair Haven will host Monmouth Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Point Pleasant Boro, they will head out on the road to face off against Point Pleasant Beach at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Garnet Gulls have averaged an impressive 10.8 runs per game this season.
