Janyyah W made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was India D, who scored three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Chamberlain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-2 win over Riverview on Thursday.
Daria Bush made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Elli Bradburn, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Chamberlain has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Tampa Bay Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season.
Both Tampa Bay Tech and Chamberlain just can't seem to miss. The Titans have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11 hits per game. However, it's not like Chamberlain struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Tampa Bay Tech couldn't quite get it done against Chamberlain in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Titans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
