Basketball Recap: Smith County Comes Up Short

Smith County lost against Jackson County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The contest between the Smith County Owls and the Jackson County Blue Devils didn't end well, with the Smith County Owls falling 54-39. While losing is never fun, the Owls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 111th).

Smith County's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Jackson County, the victory was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-2.

As of now, neither Smith County nor Jackson County have any future games scheduled.
