Football Game Preview: Sheridan Yellowjackets vs. Mountain Home Bombers + Official Tickets

The Sheridan Yellowjackets will face off against the Mountain Home Bombers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sheridan has given up an average of 55.2 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Sheridan is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They were dealt a 62-23 loss at the hands of El Dorado. The Yellowjackets were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Sheridan might have lost, but man, Zay Stephens was a machine: he rushed for 117 yards and one TD on only 14 carries. Stephens' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 108 rushing yards. Easton Barksdale was another key player, having thrown for 302 yards and onetouchdown.

Meanwhile, Mountain Home faced Greenwood in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Bombers had to suffer through a 42-10 loss at the hands of the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 44 points in the game before, the Bombers couldn't push the score so high this time.

The defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-2. As for Sheridan, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Sheridan couldn't quite get it done against Mountain Home in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 as they fell 57-50. Can the Yellowjackets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
