Softball Preview: Kenwood Bluebirds vs. Hereford Bulls
The Kenwood Bluebirds will head out to face off against the Hereford Bulls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Kenwood put up the most points they have all season on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 15-1 margin over Patapsco. Considering the Bluebirds' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Meanwhile, Hereford put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Lansdowne with a sharp 28-7 win. That looming 28-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulls yet this season.
Alex Frank was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
