Basketball Recap: School of the Woods Wildcats vs. Spring Baptist Academy Royals
School of the Woods took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Spring Baptist Academy Royals 69-23. With the Wildcats ahead 42-11 at the half, the match was all but over already.
School of the Woods' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adam Zagaar, who earned seven points along with seven assists and five steals. Zagaar has been hot , having posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Rami Keyhani was another key player, posting 12 points along with six rebounds.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. School of the Woods will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Harmony Science Academy at 6:30 p.m. on November 8th. Spring Baptist Academy also won't see the court for a while: their next game is against Community Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
