Volleyball Recap: Joppa-Maple Grove Takes a Loss

Joppa-Maple Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shawnee Redskins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Redskins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on September 12th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-13.

Joppa-Maple Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Shawnee, the win snapped their losing streak at six matches and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Coincidentally, Joppa-Maple Grove and Shawnee will both be playing Meridian the next time they take the court. The Redskins will host the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Rangers will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
