Basketball Game Preview: Western Warriors vs. Chaparral Cowboys

Western is 2-7 against Chaparral since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Western Warriors will be playing at home against the Chaparral Cowboys at 6:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row, Western turned things around against Del Sol on Thursday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 71-44 victory over the Dragons. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 43-20.

Meanwhile, Chaparral was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 78-63 to Boulder City.

Western's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-12. As for Chaparral, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
