Basketball Recap: Kennedy Memorial Comes Up Short

Kennedy Memorial was the 52-27 winner over Carteret when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Kennedy Memorial Mustangs had to suffer through a 52-24 loss at the hands of the Carteret Ramblers. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennedy Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Carteret, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kennedy Memorial will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against Morristown-Beard at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Carteret, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Perth Amboy at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.
