Soccer Game Preview: Cumberland vs. Randolph-Henry

Cumberland is 2-8 against Randolph-Henry since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Dukes will host the Statesmen at 5:00 p.m.

Cumberland is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game two weeks ago. They came up short against King & Queen Central, falling 7-0.

Meanwhile, Randolph-Henry was able to grind out a solid victory over Nottoway two weeks ago, taking the game 3-1. The win continues a trend for Randolph-Henry in their matchups with Nottoway: they've now won three in a row.

Randolph-Henry now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Cumberland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Cumberland might still be hurting after the 6-1 defeat they got from Randolph-Henry in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Dukes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
