Volleyball Game Preview: Larkin Royals vs. West Aurora Blackhawks + Official Tickets

The Larkin Royals will head out to face off against the West Aurora Blackhawks at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Larkin is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

On Wednesday, Larkin came up short against Round Lake and fell 2-0.

Larkin was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 28-26.

Meanwhile, West Aurora also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Oswego by a score of 2-0.

While West Aurora was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-17.

Larkin's loss dropped their record down to 2-21. As for West Aurora, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Larkin couldn't quite get it done against West Aurora when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Royals avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
