Baseball Recap: Springville Snags 14th Win in Last 16 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Springville walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northside Rams on Saturday, sneaking past 5-4. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Rams on Friday, they had to take a 10-5 defeat.

Springville's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jake Conner, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Springville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Northside, their loss dropped their record down to 23-10-1.

As of now, neither Springville nor the Rams have any future games scheduled.
