Soccer Recap: Mcadory Falls Short of Spain Park in the Playoffs

McAdory and Spain Park squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but McAdory had to settle for second. They lost 10-0 to the Jaguars. While losing is never fun, McAdory can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 85th, while Spain Park are ranked first).

With the defeat, McAdory broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-5-1. As for Spain Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3-1 record this season.

McAdory does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Spain Park, they will square off against Briarwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Briarwood Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Spain Park surely won't give up without a fight.
