Cloudcroft won the last time they faced Capitan and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bears.

Cloudcroft walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 25-13.

Cloudcroft's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Capitan, they dropped their record down to 1-11 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Cloudcroft will face off against rival Lordsburg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Capitan is set to challenge their familiar foe Mescalero Apache at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
