Softball Recap: Edison Takes a Loss

Edison lost against Tokay on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Vikings came up short against the Tigers, falling 9-1. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mariah Torres was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and one run.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Tokay, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Edison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 9-7 win against Chavez on the 1st. As for Tokay, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Bear Creek on the 1st.
