Volleyball Recap: St. Katharine Drexel Comes Up Short

St. Katharine Drexel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the St. Mary's Academy Cougars. If the Yellowjackets were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Cougars when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

St. Katharine Drexel's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for St. Mary's Academy, with the victory, they broke their three-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-20.

Coming up, St. Katharine Drexel will face off against Morris Jeff at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Mary's Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Livingston Collegiate Academy on the 9th.
