Game recap: North Little Rock High School Football Team wins against Pine Bluff

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - North Little Rock (Ark.) grabbed a lead in the first quarter and rode that momentum to a 35-14 win over Pine Bluff (Ark.).

In the first quarter, the Charging Wildcats put up 14 points. North Little Rock scored on a rushing touchdown and a touchdown run.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run in the first quarter, NLR was up 28-7 at the half.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 21.

The loss comes after Pine Bluff defeated Watson Chapel 24-15 last week. The victory was a step in the right direction for the Charging Wildcats, who were coming off a 24-23 defeat at the hands of South Panola in its previous game.
