Recap: Enloe Eagles vs. Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs

The Enloe Eagles were the 62-61 winner over the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Enloe took a 55-47 hit to the loss column at the hands of Southeast Raleigh on Saturday.

Zarion Hobbs and Gift Moses certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Hobbs scored 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals, while Moses scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and four blocks. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Gianni McIntire, who scored three points along with five rebounds.

Enloe has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Southeast Raleigh, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Enloe will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cardinal Gibbons at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th. Southeast Raleigh and Clayton will face off at 7:45 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Clayton presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Southeast Raleigh in North Carolina (Clayton is ranked 41st, while Southeast Raleigh is ranked 131st).
