Basketball Recap: Walker Carroll Key Part of Team Effort in Cardinals Win

Cochranton won the last time they faced Sharpsville and things went their way on Friday too. The Cardinals blew past the Blue Devils 74-52.

Cochranton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Walker Carroll, who shot 50% from the field en route to 20 points along with five assists and five boards. Another player making a difference was CJ Shorts, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds.

Cochranton smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 16 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
