Basketball Recap: Riverview Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Riverview entered their game against Harding Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Riverview Raiders took a 49-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harding Academy Wildcats. The Raiders just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Claire Citty continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Harding Academy, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Citty's evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Mackenzie Byrd was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Riverview's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Harding Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-2.

Riverview has already played their next match (against Maumelle Charter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Harding Academy will face off against Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Harding Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.8 points per game this season.
