Verona had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Sun Prairie East Cardinals with a sharp 13-7 win on Tuesday. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Sun Prairie East, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-9 record.

Verona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-0 defeat against Madison Memorial on the 9th. Sun Prairie East does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
