Liberty dropped their record down to 20-9 on Saturday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Seminole Indians. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Patriots couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Seminole, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.

For Seminole's part, the team relied heavily on Diego Cortez, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. Oscar Grijalva was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

Liberty does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Seminole, they will challenge Canyon at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (the Indians have won five straight at home, while the Eagles won five straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
