Basketball Recap: Manchester Takes a Loss

Manchester fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Lynchburg-Clay on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs 62-58. The Greyhounds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Manchester now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Lynchburg-Clay, their record is now 4-8.

Manchester will face off against Fayetteville-Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they will take on Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
