Soccer Game Preview: Red Springs vs. South Columbus

Red Springs is 1-8-1 against South Columbus since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Red Springs will be playing in front of their home fans against South Columbus at 6:00 p.m.

Monday just wasn't the day for Red Springs' offense. They fell just short of Hoke County by a score of 1-0 on Monday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South Columbus). Everything went their way against East Columbus on Tuesday as South Columbus made off with a 5-1 victory. The win was nothing new for South Columbus as they're now sitting on three straight.

Red Springs' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for South Columbus, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4-1.

Red Springs suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to South Columbus in their previous matchup back in April of 2019. Can Red Springs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
