Softball Recap: Scurry-Rosser Comes Up Short

Scurry-Rosser was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Blooming Grove Lions, falling 15-3. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Alanah Greene made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Scurry-Rosser's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Blooming Grove, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

While Scurry-Rosser had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
