Softball Recap: Mary Star of the Sea Comes Up Short on the Road Against South

Mary Star of the Sea had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 14-3 to the South Spartans on Wednesday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

Mary Star of the Sea saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Larrin Burruss, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Coming up, Mary Star of the Sea will be playing in front of their home fans against Port of Los Angeles at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South, they will take on El Dorado in a tournament on Saturday.
