Softball Recap: Burroughs Comes Up Short

Burroughs fell victim to Paraclete and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Spirits, falling 20-0. The Burros haven't had much luck with the Spirits recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Burroughs' record is now 4-8. As for Paraclete, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-1-1.

Looking ahead, Burroughs will square off against Sultana at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Burroughs' pitchers better be ready for this one: Sultana has averaged an impressive 7.1 runs per game this season. As for Paraclete, they will take on Bishop Amat at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
