Basketball Recap: L'anse Creuse's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

L'Anse Creuse's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 44-34 win over the L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders. The squad ran away with 33 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.

L'Anse Creuse found their leader in sophomore Allison Tuladziecki, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine steals. Tuladziecki has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Anna Lezotte was another key player, putting up seven points and seven steals.

L'Anse Creuse smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in eight consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, L'Anse Creuse North still got an impressive performance from Sophia Wiacek, who posted 15 points.
