Football Recap: Anson Bearcats vs. Parkwood Wolf Pack
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Central, Anson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 38-0 win over the Parkwood Wolf Pack at home. The Bearcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 22 points or more this season.
Anson had a senior duo take command as Kendrick Maye gained 110 total yards and four touchdowns and Jazear Griffin rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Anson was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 234 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Parkwood only rushed for -29.

The victory got Anson back to even at 3-3. As for Parkwood, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Anson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 45-0 win against Piedmont on the 10th. Parkwood has also already played their next matchup, a 55-6 defeat against Monroe on the 10th.
