Volleyball Recap: Tri-County North Starts off Right with Win over Northridge

Tri-County North gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Northridge Polar Bears. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Tri-County North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-14, 25-16, 25-15.

Tri-County North's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Paityn Davidson, who had 19 digs. Another player making a difference was Kiley Adkins, who had six aces, five kills, and five digs.

Tri-County North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Middletown Christian on the 19th. As for Northridge, they will take on Berne Union at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
