Recap: Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles vs. Christian Fellowship
The Lighthouse Prep Academy Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 68-30 loss at the hands of Christian Fellowship. Lighthouse Prep Academy has not had much luck with Christian Fellowship recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Despite the loss, Lighthouse Prep Academy saw an underclassman step up: Alajun Proctor scored ten points.
Christian Fellowship's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Evan Welker led the charge by scoring 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Welker has scored all season. Brendan Royer was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.
Lighthouse Prep Academy dropped their record down to 3-11 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Christian Fellowship, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.
Lighthouse Prep Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Christian Fellowship also has no future games currently scheduled.
