Football Game Preview: Jonathan Alder Pioneers vs. London Red Raiders

The Jonathan Alder Pioneers are taking a road trip to take on the London Red Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jonathan Alder is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

On Friday, Jonathan Alder beat Urbana 28-21. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Pioneers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Hillclimbers are ranked 333rd).

Cashton Wheeler was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 116 yards on only 15 carries, and also picked up 51 receiving yards and one score.

Meanwhile, London got themselves on the board against Bellefontaine on Friday, but Bellefontaine never followed suit. They really took it to the Chieftains for the full four quarters, racking up a 48-0 win. That looming 48-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Red Raiders yet this season.

Jonathan Alder's record is now 7-0. As for London, their record now sits at an identical 7-0.

Jonathan Alder took a serious blow against London in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 49-0. Can the Pioneers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
