Football Recap: Hilton Head Christian Academy Eagles vs. Bethesda Academy Blazers
Hilton Head Christian Academy was the 34-14 winner over Bethesda Academy when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 53-28 to the Blazers on Friday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 122nd in South Carolina, while the Blazers are ranked 281st in Georgia).
Bethesda Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Cheever out in front who rushed for 234 yards and one touchdown while picking up 9.4 yards per carry, and also picked up 65 receiving yards and one score.
