Softball Recap: Franklin Wins Going Away Against Foster

Franklin had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 26-run drubbing they dealt Foster on Thursday. The Quakers blew past the Bulldogs 30-4. Considering the Quakers have won four games by more than 14 runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Foster, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Franklin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cleveland at 4:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Foster, they will square off against Evergreen at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs will need to watch out since the Wolverines have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
