Winneconne waltzed into their matchup  on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Berlin Indians 11-1. While the Wolves didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 Broderick Stille and  Colson Kleinschmidt made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Stille   pitched 1.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Kleinschmidt   struck out seven batters over  4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   four  hits. Stille has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  Stille  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  Kleinschmidt  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base. Stille is becoming a predictor of Winneconne's success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is undefeated (and 4-5 when he doesn't).
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Logan Binder, who  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  run. Those  two  RBI gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Dallas Walker, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double.
 Winneconne  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 11  hits. That's a new  trend for them: they were averaging 5  hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 9.4.
Winneconne's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-5. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Berlin,  they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.
