Soccer Recap: Wayland-Cohocton Comes Up Short

Wayland-Cohocton came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 4-0 to the Caledonia-Mumford Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Caledonia-Mumford this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 on September 13th.

Wayland-Cohocton's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4-1. As for Caledonia-Mumford, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wayland-Cohocton will host Livonia at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Wayland-Cohocton are facing Livonia at the right time seeing as Livonia are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Caledonia-Mumford, they will be playing at home against Cuba-Rushford at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
